SAFETY PROTOCOLS

VACCINATION CARD

Attendees can show proof of COVID-19 vaccination by official vaccination card. Cards must show a 1st, 2nd, and booster dose.

PCR TEST

Those without vaccination cards must provide results of a negative PCR test, performed no earlier than Monday, January 23rd, 2023.

From the Center for Disease Control: “PCR tests are typically the most reliable tests for people with or without symptoms. These tests detect viral genetic material, which may stay in your body for up to 90 days after you test positive. Therefore, you should not use a PCR test if you have tested positive in the last 90 days.”

If you have tested positive within the last 90 days, please consult with your healthcare provider about your individual circumstances and COVID-19 to assess whether it is safe for you and others that you attend the symposium.

MASKS

Attendees must wear masks whenever inside the venue. Cloth masks and masks with valves will not be permitted.

If you are in need of accommodations due to health/disability status or have questions about our COVID-19 protocols, email us at info@decolonizingthemusicroom.com

Out of concern for the health and safety of attendees, volunteers, and presenters, we are employing COVID-19 safety protocols. All are required to show either an official vaccination card (showing at minimum a 1st, 2nd, and booster dose) or a negative PCR test result (tests must be performed no earlier than January 23rd, 2023); masks will also be required. Upon check-in attendees will show these items and receive a wristband that must be worn when on the premises.

Thank you for assisting us in our commitment to have a safe symposium! We will issue updates on this page as needed.
